Dirty Robot Brew Works: Fermentation progress
We've rigged up a sensor to detect and log bubbles in the airlock. Tom L built the electronics using an LED, a photoresistor, and a Cerebellum. This sends data over a serial cable to a NeXTstation, where Tom S has Perl code logging the data and sending it to this web server.
The graph below shows current fermentation progress. Fermentation can be assumed to be finished, and we can bottle the beer, when the time between bubbles reaches around 10 minutes.
